About Me
Hi, I’m Joseph Kuria, an event photographer driven by a passion for capturing life’s most cherished moments. My journey began in the village of Subukia, where I discovered my love for photography at just 14 years old. In 2010, I moved to Nakuru to pursue this dream and enrolled at Smart Media Nakuru. Unfortunately, the institution closed, and I had to switch gears, pursuing a course in Community Development and Social Work, which also aligned with my love for working with people.
Photography has remained a core part of my life. My family lovingly calls me “camera man wa family” because they rely on me to document their most precious moments. From weddings to casual family gatherings, I’ve always been the one capturing the memories they cherish. Even close friends like Raymon, a talented architect at Arctic Space and Builders, have commented on my unwavering passion. Raymon often says, “Na unapenda kupiga picha”, reminding me how deeply photography is a part of me.
